20 YEARS OF IMPACT: THE SIMPLE PLAN FOUNDATION’S MISSION

Created in 2005, the Simple Plan Foundation’s mission is to help young people facing adversity. Its work focuses on three key pillars:

1. Supporting youth facing major life challenges. Helping organizations working with young people dealing with mental health struggles, drug use, depression, bullying, poverty, suicide risks, and the effects of war.

A RARE AND EXCLUSIVE CONCERT EXPERIENCE

For only the second time in their entire career, Simple Plan will perform their iconic 2004 album “Still Not Getting Any…” in full. This Montréal performance is a truly rare opportunity for fans to experience the album in its entirety and hear songs the band rarely plays live.

Adding to the celebration, the band will be joined by Québec royalty Les Trois Accords, who graciously accepted the invitation to be part of this special evening.

Quote from Simple Plan:

“We are extremely happy to bring back a tradition that is very important to us by announcing the return of the Simple Plan Foundation’s annual show, which will take place on December 16th at the Beanfield Theatre!

The Simple Plan Foundation’s benefit concert has always been a very special event for us, and we had so much fun playing these benefit-shows over the past 20 years. It is one of our favorite ways to raise funds to help young people in need, a cause to which our Foundation is dedicated. It is also the opportunity to invite our fans and supporters to join us in making a difference in their community and to offer them a unique and very different show from our regular concerts.

This year, we had the idea of celebrating the 21st anniversary of our second album Still Not Getting Any… and offering a full performance of the album’s songs, something we have only done once in our career. It is therefore a very rare opportunity for our fans to attend a very exclusive show and contribute to the SP Foundation, and for us to play songs we love and don’t often perform live.

On top of that, our good friends Les Trois Accords have very graciously agreed to join us to make the evening even more memorable. We thank them for their great generosity and kindness.

All money raised from the evening will go to our Foundation, which is dedicated to helping young people across the country. We can’t wait to see everyone on December 16th at the Beanfield Theatre for what promises to be an amazing evening.”

SIMPLE PLAN PROMOTES DONATION CAMPAIGN FOR RIO GRANDE DO SUL

Having just visited Brazil a few months ago for some of the most amazing shows of their career, the band has been heartbroken watching the devastating news of the floods in Rio Grande do Sul, a region where many of their fans have been directly affected.

That's why the Simple Plan Foundation is making a $10,000 USD donation to Fiocruz to assist the flood victims. Additionally, the band is offering a special and exclusive Brazilian football shirt on their online stores, with all proceeds benefiting the relief efforts. They would like to extend their support, raise awareness and funds through this merch item, and encourage others to help. The band members hope these small gestures will have a positive impact on the tragic situation.

Donations 2024

We're thrilled to announce the return of the Simple Plan Foundation for 2024. The unforeseen challenges brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic created a brief pause in our activities. However, we're back in full swing, with big plans for 2024 and 2025 already underway.

This year's touring success has allowed us to reinstate our commitment to donate $1 from every ticket sold worldwide to the SP Foundation. Both the band members and our dedicated volunteers are eager to resume the vital work that has defined the Foundation over the last 19 years, making a significant positive impact on many lives.

We're inspired by the opportunity to continue this journey and immensely grateful for the ongoing support that makes our work possible.
